God, this one was difficult to make! And since misery loves company, I shall explain why:

1. Drawing people kiss is a LOT harder then it looks. For me the biggest problem is keeping the relative sizes right (don't want us to have a 50 foot woman now, do we ). Then you have to take into consideration the relative positions of the bodies and.. blah!!! .

2. Perspective in small rooms sucks. I understand the basic rules of perspective and I can draw a OK city scene, but when dealing with small rooms you have to cheat a bit as not to make the pic look weird. This whole perspective business makes me dizzy.

3. Less colour = more work. I was going for a noir-detective-story look so I did the pic in grayscale. And 256 shades of gray will only take you so far. The only thing you can change is the brightness value (no hue or saturation), so you're quite limited.

And you're probably wondering how yugioh and noir movies got mixed together. While indulging my inner teenager I stumbled across a fanfic site belonging to a miss ILB. She wrote this wacky neo-noir fic called "Bittersweet" which reminded me of the cartoon "Fish Police", so I had to indulge my inner child and inner teenager once again. Some details could have been done better, but most of them could have turned out much, much worse, so overall I'm quite pleased
